Piano Specialist
The Institute of Performing Arts (IPA) is seeking an exceptional and dedicated Piano Specialist to join our growing team of international educators. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to inspire and nurture the next generation of pianists in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one piano lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
- Prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity music examinations and ensure a strong foundation in music theory.
- Inspire students through carefully structured lessons that develop technique, expression, and repertoire knowledge.
- Provide regular feedback to parents and guardians, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Contribute to IPA’s performance culture by preparing students for recitals, showcases, and community events.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and stay current with modern teaching approaches and repertoire trends.
- Demonstrate excellent organisation and reliability in managing lesson schedules and resources.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching piano within an international school, music academy, or equivalent.
- Degree in Music Performance, Education, or Pedagogy (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of ABRSM and Trinity examination boards and music theory.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- A genuine love for piano and a passion for music education.
Desirable:
- Holder of a valid driving licence.
- Knowledge of music teaching software and strong IT literacy.
- Ability to accompany students on piano for performances or exams.
Guitar Specialist
The Institute of Performing Arts (IPA) is seeking a passionate and versatile Guitar Specialist to join our faculty of international musicians. This role is perfect for a teacher who can ignite creativity and inspire students across classical, acoustic, and electric guitar.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert one-to-one guitar lessons across classical, acoustic, and electric styles.
- Guide students through ABRSM, Rockschool, and other international exam syllabi.
- Build strong technical foundations while encouraging creative exploration and improvisation.
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and ensemble work within IPA’s vibrant music culture.
- Provide detailed feedback to students and parents while tracking progress consistently.
- Stay updated with evolving guitar pedagogy, repertoire, and music technology.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one drum kit lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
- Prepare students for ABRSM, Rockschool (RSL Awards) and Trinity College London Drum Kit examinations.
- Develop students’ technical skills, musicality, and stylistic versatility (rock, pop, jazz, funk, etc.).
- Encourage creativity, improvisation, and performance readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Requirements:
